If you are a first-year student, you have to register for a URV doctorate online by going to the Registration section of the website, according to the stablished calendar. Bear in mind that you will not be able to register if you have not submitted all the documents with the required specifications. If you do not register, you will lose the place you have been assigned. There’s more information regarding the organization of the registration on this website.

To enrol, you must submit the original documents (or certified copies) to the secretary's office of the campus/school to which your doctoral programme belongs.
- Calculate the cost of your registration and prepare the payment details.
- If you are eligible for an exemption, submit the necessary documentation to the Academic Management Service before starting the online registration process, so that all your details are included in the IT system. (See all exemptions here). The accrediting documentation must show that on the day when the academic activity begins you are in the situation for which you are claiming the registration fee exemption. This documentation must be scanned and sent to automatricula(ELIMINAR)@urv.cat.

In the case of foreign PhD students, it should be taken into account that the accident insurance policy involved in the registration does not include repatriation in case of death. If the PhD student has not signed an insurance policy containing repatriation before leaving his/her country, he/she will have to contact the International Center of the URV, which will inform him/her about some subscriptions with this coverage.
