The European Higher Education Area (EHEA) requires university institutions to make a commitment to transparency and quality through a formally established and publically available internal quality assurance system (IQAS).
- Internal quality assurance system of Postgraduate and Doctoral School
The Post Graduate and Doctoral School (EPD) has established a system to guarantee the quality of master's and doctoral qualifications.
The present document specifies the processes used to guarantee the quality of courses implemented by the Postgraduate and Doctoral School (2009 version of the IQAS).
During the current academic year the EPD is updating its IQAS and the processes contained in this document have already been updated. The new IQAS of the EPD is pending publication.

- Approval, monitoring and renewal of doctoral programmes
The URV's EPD has been working to establish a new map of official doctoral qualifications adapted to the new qualifications structure resulting from the process of adapting to the EHEA. This process has culminated in the approval and authorisation of the following qualifications.
To ensure the quality and suitability of their qualifications, universities must regularly publish up-to-date, impartial and objective quantitative and qualitative information regarding their programmes. They must also monitor these qualifications and submit themselves to a process that accredits their official nature.
